VMIVME-1184将状态变化存储在板载FIFO中。当FIFO为空(ROFE)或中断已被确认(ROAK)时,电路板可被配置为清除中断请求。如果一个COS在前一个COS等待服务时发生,或者在中断服务程序中发生,事件将被保存。
该板还接受16路模拟输入。这些输入可以是差分或伪差分(单端)。可为输入订购36 Hz单极输入滤波器。输入ADC可以通过编程(通过片上跳线)在各种电压范围内工作。这些范围为0至+5 V、0至+10 V(单极性)、2.5、5.0或10 V(双极性)。输入具有12位分辨率。输入可以由板载多路复用器扫描,数据存储在双端口存储器中。
VMIVME-4514A有三种ADC工作模式。它们是随机轮询、扫描轮询和自动扫描。当主板通电时,系统复位后,或在程序控制下,进入自动扫描模式。在这种模式下,所有16个通道都被连续扫描。它们的输入被数字化并存储在16个12位双端口寄存器中。除了从这些寄存器中读取数据外,无需编程。

The Abaco Systems/VMIC VMIVME-1184 32-bit Change of State (COS) input board with Event Sequence (SOE) is an optically isolated digital input board with 32 user configurable channels. The input can be set to monitor voltage detection or contact closure. Once the hardware configuration is completed and installed in the system, you can start monitoring the circuit. The data port is always available for VMEbus data transmission. Just read the address of a specific port and record the status of the external circuit. This data can be accessed through bytes, words, or long words.
The circuit board can be programmed to interrupt the system based on changes in input. The state change (COS) circuit monitors the logical state of the input. When the input channel changes its state (for example, from logic 1 to logic 0), the COS logic is set to trigger this event, which can issue an interrupt to the host CPU. COS logic is programmed through control and status registers to store events under specific conditions, such as the falling edge mentioned above, and is channel specific.
The board can also record sequence of events (SOEs). In this mode, when any channel undergoes a specified state change, the previous states of all 32 channels are stored in the FIFO, followed by the current state. In addition, the counter values for increasing/decreasing input from the front panel counter are stored in a separate FIFO to provide optional timestamps for SOE. Counter function is also provided in COS mode.
VMIVME-1184 stores state changes in the onboard FIFO. When the FIFO is empty (ROFE) or the interrupt has been acknowledged (ROAK), the circuit board can be configured to clear the interrupt request. If a COS occurs while the previous COS is waiting for service, or during an interrupt service program, the event will be saved.
The board also accepts 16 analog inputs. These inputs can be differential or pseudodifferential (single ended). 36 Hz single pole input filters can be ordered for input. The input ADC can operate in various voltage ranges through programming (via on-chip jumpers). These ranges are 0 to+5 V, 0 to+10 V (unipolar), 2.5, 5.0, or 10 V (bipolar). The input has a 12 bit resolution. The input can be scanned by the onboard multiplexer, and the data is stored in dual port memory.
VMIVME-4514A has three ADC operating modes. They are random polling, scanning polling, and automatic scanning. When the motherboard is powered on, the system resets or enters automatic scanning mode under program control. In this mode, all 16 channels are continuously scanned. Their inputs are digitized and stored in 16 12 bit dual port registers. Apart from reading data from these registers, there is no need for programming.
