Multilin’s feeder management relay is equipped with numerous functions to protect the distribution feeder system, reducing the pressure on system components and reducing troubleshooting time through its metering and data recording functions.
The front panel of the relay is divided into approximately four parts: a 40 character LCD display, keyboard, LED, and RS232 port. The 40 character LCD screen is an alphanumeric display that displays various system values when not in use (configurable by the user). The keyboard allows for manual setpoint configuration and general navigation of relays. LEDs can indicate when a problem occurs in the system and let users know about the activity process. Finally, the RS232 port allows for a simple and direct connection between a computer running EnerVista 750 software and a relay.
750-P1-G1-S1-Hi A20-R includes a metering function that can determine voltage, frequency, watt hour cost, load stroke percentage, operation, and maximum demand equivalents. When the maintenance threshold of the circuit breaker is exceeded, the relay can use its metering function to trigger an alarm. The alarm can be indicated by the 20 aforementioned light-emitting diodes of the relay.
Additional security measures can be implemented through password protection to prevent unauthorized adjustment of settings. This password protection is suitable for both manual editing from the front end of the relay and editing through the EnerVista 750 program. For manual input of set value configuration, a jumper must be installed on the backend.
