Motorola’s MVME167P single board computer represents the functionality, flexibility, and performance of the CISC system. MVME167P is based on Motorola MC68040 and combines microprocessors with memory management and floating-point units. This excellent processing speed and floating-point performance make MVME167P an ideal solution for scientific and industrial applications.

The new Petra specific integrated circuit (ASIC) replaces the functions previously implemented in MCECC chips, improving the performance of storage subsystems. The memory configuration switch allows customers to customize memory sizes for applications that require smaller memory configurations.
