IC694MDL752 is a discrete output module that can operate in 5 VDC (TTL) mode and 12/24 VDC voltage mode. This module aims to power typical electrical loads operating at 10.2-28.8 VDC and electronic loads operating in the voltage range of 4.75-5.25 VDC. This module is part of Emerson Automation’s PACSystem RX3i and was previously provided by the General Electric Intelligent Platform.
IC694MDL752 is a single slot width module that can be installed in any available slot on the RX3i backplane. It can be installed as a local output module on a local CPU rack, or as a distributed output module installed on a distributed I/O station. The number of IC694MDL752 module instances depends on the available module slots and the I/O capacity supported by the host processor. As a high-density output module, it is equipped with two (2) embedded compact module connector arrays, compatible with two 24 pin plug connectors (Fujitsu FCN-365 p024-AU). It accepts customized assembly cables from users and is compatible with pre wired cables with catalog numbers IC694CBL327 and IC694CBL328.
The maximum output current of IC694MDL752 in TTL mode is 25mA per point. When configured in 12/24V mode, the maximum value is 0.5 amperes per point; Each group has a maximum of 4 amperes, and each common pin has a maximum of 3 amperes. The maximum current obtained by this module from the 5V bus on the backplane is 260mA, which is 13mA+3mA/point at+4.7mAh/LED; When all group outputs are powered on, at 5V DC, each group has a maximum of 12 mA (maximum value); At 12 VDC, the user power supply is 25 mA per group (maximum value), and all outputs within the group are turned on. At 24 VDC, the user power supply is 44 mA per group (maximum value), and all 8 outputs within the group are turned on.
The GE Fanuc IC694MDL752 5/24V DC TTL output module is a 32 point negative logic output module manufactured for the RX3i PACSystems platform. This output module has 32 discrete outputs, with 4 in each group (each containing 8 output points). It also provides negative logic or current absorbing outputs, with each point capable of absorbing up to 25 milliamperes of current. The IC694MDL752 output module provides two operating modes, TTL mode and 12/24V mode. In TTL mode, the output of the IC694MDL752 output module can switch the load within the range of+5 V DC (+/-5%). In 12/24 V mode, they can maintain the load between 12 and 24 V DC and can absorb a maximum current of up to 0.5 amperes per point.
The IC694MDL752 output module has 4 groups shared, each with a 2-pin I/O connector, and each group has a maximum load of 3.0 amperes. Each common group in the IC694MDL752 output module can support multiple load types simultaneously. For example, the IC694MDL752 output module can simultaneously drive 12 volt DC loads, 24 volt DC loads, and TTL loads in different groups. The rated working voltage of the IC694MDL752 output module is 5.0 to 24.0 volts DC, with a working range of 4.75 to 5.25 volts DC (TTL mode) or 10.2 to 28.8 volts DC (12/24 volts DC mode). Each output point on the module has an internal pull-out resistor, which is isolated from each other. The IC694MDL752 output module has a maximum surge rating of 4.6 amperes for 10 milliseconds. It also has a standard signal response time of 0.5 milliseconds. The IC694MDL752 output module is installed in the I/O slot of the PLC and is only compatible with RX3i CPUs.
