IC693ALG392 is an analog current/voltage output module for PACSystems RX3i and 90-30 series. This module has eight single ended output channels, with voltage output and/or current loop output depending on the user’s installation. Each channel can be configured by software to generate single pole, (-10 to+10 V) bipolar, 0 to 20 mA, or 4 to 20 mA for subsequent oscilloscopes (0 to+10 V). Each channel can translate 15 to 16 bits. This depends on the range of user preferences. All eight channels are updated every 8 milliseconds. In the current mode, the IC693ALG392 module reports an open circuit fault for each channel to the CPU. When the system power supply is disturbed, the module can enter the known final state. If external power is continuously applied to the module, each output will maintain its final value or reset to zero according to configuration. It can be installed in any I/O slot of RX3i or 90-30 series systems. The module must obtain a 24 VDC power supply from an external power source directly connected to the terminal board. Each output channel is single ended and adjusted to 0.625 at the factory μ a. This may vary depending on the voltage.
