It has an embedded Ethernet/IP switch that can be used to connect it to other devices using Ethernet networks, which can be in series, DLR, star, and linear topologies. The 842E-MIP3BA Ethernet/IP network encoder is designed to be as compact as possible to improve efficiency and save installation space. The ball bearings used in this encoder have a spacing of 30 millimeters or 1.18 inches to extend their service life.
