Signal Conversion: When the Keyphasor marker on the axis aligns with the Keyphasor sensor, the module uses a magnetic sensor or proximity probe to detect the alignment and converts the input signal into a digital Keyphasor signal.
Compatibility: Provides higher Keyphasor signal processing capabilities than previous designs while maintaining full backward compatibility in terms of shape, fit, and functionality with existing Keyphasor modules used for legacy systems.
Scalability: The 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four Keyphasor signals in normal configuration and up to eight Keyphasor signals in paired configuration. This provides users with greater flexibility to adapt to different application needs.
Redundant configuration: In Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) applications, the 3500 system should use two key phase modules. Input signal:
