All 3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor systems offer this level of performance support for complete interchangeability of probes, extended cables, and front sensors, without the need for matching or benchmark calibration of individual components. Each 3300 XL 8mm sensor system component is backward compatible and can be interchanged with other non XL 3300 series 5mm and 8mm sensors. This compatibility includes the 3300 5mm probe, which is too large for the available installation space of the 8mm probe. Front sensor The 3300 XL Proximitor sensor has undergone significant improvements in its previous design in the following areas. Its physical packaging allows you to use it in high-density DINrail installations. You can also install the sensor on a traditional panel bracket, which shares the same 4-hole “footprint” front sensor design as the old one. The installation base of any option provides electrical insulation and does not require a separate isolation plate. The 3300XL Proximitor sensor is highly resistant to radio frequency interference, allowing you to install it in a fiberglass casing without being adversely affected by nearby radio frequency signals. The 3300 XL Proximitor sensor enhances its resistance to radio frequency interference/electromagnetic interference, meeting the European CE certification without the need for special shielded conduits or metal casings, resulting in lower installation costs and complexity. The 3300 XL SpringLoc terminal board does not require special installation tools by eliminating screw types, promoting faster and more robust field wiring connections that may loosen clamping devices.
