The 2711P-T15C22A9P is a PanelView Plus 7 Performance operator terminal. This device is manufactured by Allen-Bradley that is mainly used to implement process visualization and control in the factory floor area. With its modern design, the 2711P-T15C22A9P is compatible for use in a wide variety of applications that demand connectivity up to enterprise floor as well as implement advanced functions in high-availability manner.

The 2711P-T15C22A9P comes with dual Ethernet interface that supports Device Level Ring (DLR) topology. With DLR topology, network redundancy is achieved, increasing availability of data exchange. Additionally, these communication ports support linear and Star topology as well. Additionally, this operator terminal has Three (3) USB ports for installation of external peripherals such as mouse, keyboard and removable storage. It also has One (1) Secure Digital (SD) card slot for insertion of 1784-SD1 or 1784-SD2 used for expanding the internal 512 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB Storage memories of the operator terminal.

The 2711P-T15C22A9P provides visualization via the 15-inch thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD screen with resolution of 1024 x 768 XGA, 18-bit color graphics and viewing area of 304 x 228 mm (12.0 x 9.0 in.). Control of the process is introduced via the analog resistive touchscreen interface with actuation lifespan of 1 million presses.

The 2711P-T15C22A9P is compatible for use in large or complex applications. The colored screen may be designed to implement high-level of information with color coded animations. This operator terminal also supports alarm handling, security, trending, data logging and recipe management.

This operator terminals is a modern visualization component or more commonly referred to as Human Machine Interface (HMI). This operator terminal supports connection to a linear, Ring or Star Ethernet topologies. Being in the performance operator terminal category, the built-in memory of this HMI device is 512 MB for System memory and 512 MB for user memory. It may be installed with memory expansion card such as 1784-SD1 or 1784-SD2. Only one (1) SD card slot is available in the 2711P-T15C22A9P. The 2711P-T15C22A9P operator terminals has a scalable and configurable hardware. It comes with a removable logic and display module and also supports installation of additional communication module. Since the 2711P-T15C22A9P is a touchscreen operator terminal, actuate the touch membrane with a force equivalent to 100 grams. If possible, cover the actuating finger with glove or use stylus to prevent damage to the touch terminal. Supply this operator terminal with a power supply voltage range of 100-240VAC along a frequency of 50-60 Hz. This operator terminal also has a battery-backed real-time clock.
