Allen Bradley 2098-DSD-HV150-SE is an Ultra 3000 digital servo driver with an integrated SERCOS interface. This servo drive is used to control the movement and position of actuators (such as motors) and is installed in the manufacturing industry, mostly in the assembly area. To operate 2098-DSD-HV150-SE, a 3-phase input voltage of 230-480VAC rms must be provided. It can provide an output power of 7.5 kW at 230 V AC voltage, 15.0 kW at 460 V AC voltage, with a continuous output current of 34 A and an intermittent output current of 68 A. The interface of the servo driver is installed on the front panel of the module. These interfaces include DC bus connections for active shunt resistor kits, AC input power connections, motor power connections, motor power cable shielding clips located at the bottom of the driver (for fixing cables and eliminating line noise), CN3 9-pin serial port connectors that support RS232/RS422 and RS485 communication standards, CN2 15-pin motor feedback connectors for connecting motor feedback, and CN1 44 pin connectors for connecting input and output signals, such as eight (8) discrete inputs. Five (5) discrete outputs, including one (1) relay and four (4) source outputs, two (2) analog inputs, and one (1) analog output channel. Through the SERCO interface of the frequency converter, communication can be achieved with controllers equipped with 1756 SERCOS interface modules and SoftLogix SERCOS interfaces installed in PCI card slots on any programming workstation.
