Allen Bradley 1769-L16ER-BB1B is a processor module and part of the Allen Bradley compact logic 5370 L1 programmable automation controller series, with a limit of 4 Ethernet nodes. Using a single IP address, the controller can connect to Ethernet through dual built-in communication ports. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B module is equipped with an integrated switch that supports linear, traditional star, and DLR (device level ring) topologies. Its DLR function enhances network resilience. It can read structured text, functional blocks, relay ladders, and SFC programming language.
The Allen Bradley 24V DC 1769-L16ER-BB1B controller provides users with an embedded I/O module with 16 absorption digital input points and 16 source digital output points. It also supports up to six 1734 point I/O local expansion modules. If users use extension modules, these additional modules should be installed on the right side of the controller and linked within the same system. The total current of embedded I/O and local expansion modules should not exceed 1 ampere backplane current and 3 ampere field power supply current. 1769-L16ER-BB1B DIN Rail Mount PAC supports up to 100 programs for each of 32 continuous or periodic tasks. It has 32 slots and high-performance capacity, supporting up to 256 controllers, 120 TCP, and 256 CIP connections, with a packet rate of 500 bytes/packet/second and a capacity of 6000.
The controller is also equipped with 384 kilobytes of memory and a Secure Digital (SD) card with a memory size of 1 GB for non-volatile memory allocation. Installing a 2GB non-volatile memory SD card can further expand.
